This is my idea of an Autumn feast: almost paper-thin bread dough, spread out and loosely topped with sour cream, onions and pancetta. Perfect with a glass of wine or even Federweißer, the half-fermented grape juice you can only buy in Germany, at least as far as I know. It’s not quite wine yet, sweet and bubbly and oh so drinkable. Regrettably so.
